If your home already has smoke detectors, Handyman Moshe will examine their location to ensure that they have been placed correctly relative to the layout of your home. Smoke detectors need to be placed relative to the airflow in your home, and relative to bedroom locations where you'll hear them instantly in an emergency.

Avoiding placements too close to the stove will cut back on false alarms. One detector is usually inadequate for most homes, so we'll carefully determine the number you need and install battery operated alarms where needed and permanent electrically run alarms with battery back-ups where possible. '

We can also install combo units that detect both smoke and carbon monoxide. Some of our top models have verbal audio warnings which will announce the specific hazard it detects.
